"Hear, … for the Lord has spoken." (Isaiah 1:2)

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the Lord has spoken: I have nourished and brought up sons (and daughters), and have made them great and exalted, and they have rebelled against Me and broken away from Me.”  This is the word of God in Isaiah 1 verse 2. This is the Word of God, Amplified for me and for you.
Are we hearing? Do we care? Are our ears dull from the lies that  prominently swoon in the air. The heart of God breaks as His creation turns their backs to Him. He has spoken. Who has ears?
“The ox instinctively knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel does not know or recognize Me [as Lord], My people do not consider or understand.” This is the Word of God, Isaiah chapter 1 verse 3.
“Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the Lord has spoken:” Who is it that  has ears that are open?
(Holy Spirit, I pray for the children, all the children of the world – ‘red, brown, yellow, black and white, they are precious in Your sight.’ Open their ears, dear Lord. O God, I plead, Give them sight. I write my hearts prayer in parenthesis.)
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. This is the Word of God in Matthew 24, verses 37-39. These thoughts are not written for opinion and critique. These words were written for this very time.
Don’t be convinced that your truth is yours and my truth in mine. God is God. His Word is truth. He created the expanse and your heart. Find out if these things are right. This is a test you want to pass – this is a matter of death or life.
“It is God Who sits above the circle of the earth, ” these ancient words, in Isaiah from long ago, were written when men believed the the earth to be flat. Isaiah chapter 40 verse 22 dispelled all that.
But only the men that were reading God’s word knew the earth to be round. But they were put in asylums long ago, and  were believed their minds were unsound.
So, today, today there are some with feet beautiful, ‘that bring good tidings of good, (yes, it’s written just as this, and it should – in the Amplified version of Isaiah 52, in verse 7: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation …”
Have I made you curious? Have I brought a hunger inside, to check out God’s Word, to see and hear what’s inside?
The question is asked in Isaiah 53, “Who has believed our report?” Who has believed and trusted in the One who has ‘borne our griefs, our sickness, our weakness, and distress.’  Who has ‘carried our sorrows and pain’ and taken the punishment we deserve, on Him.
Who has believed?
It is me.
And how about you? “He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for us, was upon Him,” Isaiah 53:5, is all about Jesus on the cross. I believed, and He has made me alive.
Will you hear today, and give Him your heart? God’s Word is precious. There is one message: The Son was sent by God the Father to make all things right and to give us all a new start.
Believe in the Son. Seek Him today. He will be found.
And as your ask to understand His Word as He speaks, He will hear and will answer, and make your life sound.
Read Isaiah 40. Read the Book of John. Read of the Creation. Discover the Son!
